Bradford House, Belbroughton

Wilden Developments were awarded the contract to extend and alter the beautiful Grade II listed Bradford House, using all traditional materials in the construction.

The external walls were built from York stone blocks, shaped by local stone masons, and laid with lime mortar. All the external sash windows were made out of oak, together with the sliding, folding patio doors. The floors were a mixture of oak boarding and York stone flags, salvaged from a redundant Yorkshire church.

All elements of the construction were carried out by our own skilled tradesman, creating the effect that the new addition to the house had been there for years.
